"I am because we are." Inspired by the humanity we witnessed during India’s second Covid wave, this collection draws from Ubuntu—an African philosophy rooted in oneness and interconnectedness. Strangers became lifelines, and kindness bridged distances. This spirit of unity is reflected in blurred boundaries: dip-dyed ombrés, contrasts in texture and form, heavy crystals on delicate jerseys, and layered silhouettes. Knots symbolise coming together, while subtle silks reveal bold linings. Ubuntu is the 17th collection from 431-88—available online and in select stores across India.
